Recently, the clean power system project for the Brandwal solar power plant in Kootwijke rbroek has been successfully completed, marking a new step for the Netherlands to actively promote the achievement of the goals of the Climate Agreement, taking a new step towards its 30 energy regions.
In 2022, King William Alexander of the Netherlands visited and inspected the under construction Brandwar solar power plant, emphasizing the close cooperation between local governments and the central government, social partners, power network managers, industry and commerce, energy cooperatives, and community residents. This collaborative effort aims to create regional sustainable energy production methods and implementation paths for regional energy strategies (RES), aiming to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 50% by 2030.
The Brandwal solar power plant is one of the largest and most important regional energy strategy (RES) projects in the area, covering an area of 200000 square meters. As one of the vivid practical cases in the Food Valley region, the design of the power station not only focuses on generating, storing, and regional sales of green electricity and hydrogen, but also fully considers the multifunctional use of the site during the construction process. This includes the cultivation of crops, fruits, and vegetables under solar panels, sheep farming, and innovative support for green hydrogen production, with a focus on widespread community participation.
Haitai Xinneng has partnered with Zonnepark Branderwal BV in the Netherlands to successfully create a large-scale ground photovoltaic power plant with N-type 210 double-sided double glass modules, using over 40000 new 675w TOPCon double-sided double glass modules. This is not only an important breakthrough in solar energy technology, but also an organic combination of wasteland and desert management. Through the innovative “photovoltaic+” green ecological industry model of “on board power generation, off board agriculture and animal husbandry”, the project not only achieves the production of green electricity, but also plays a positive role in improving the local ecological environment.
The grid connected capacity of the project reaches 30MW, and compared to traditional electricity, it will reduce approximately 17000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually in the next 30 years. This is a strong response to the climate agreement commitments and also marks a remarkable step in the sustainable energy sector for the Brandwar region.
Haitai Xinneng has contributed an indispensable part to the successful construction of the Brandwar solar power plant with outstanding technology and collaborative solutions. As a leading enterprise in the field of clean energy, Haitai New Energy is committed to leading the development of global renewable energy and making unremitting efforts to build a green future.
